Saturday May 5, 2012 I also saw “The Avengers.” By now, pretty much
everyone knows that this movie is the highest grossing film of all time—for good
reason too. The Avengers was a great film that I enjoyed because it was all
about characters. People root for certain characters in this film, everyone has
a favorite out of the bunch. I know that when I saw the film, everyone cheered
when Robert Downey Jr. appeared on the screen. People actually clapped, believe
it or not. While I am a fan of the Iron Man movies and Downey Jr. himself I
prefer the character of Nick Fury. Why? Nick Fury—played fantastically by Mr.
Samuel L. Jackson has been a fixture in all the recent Marvel movies, just like
the cameos by Stan Lee. It’s what I wait for in these films, what I root for,
and what I am the most excited about seeing because I know I am in for a treat.
The Avengers is an action-packed thrill ride that is bound to leave you wanting
more, and a sequel. I highly recommend this film to anyone (How cool is it to
say you’ve seen the highest grossing film of ever in theaters??? Pretty Cool!)
Especially those who are fans of Marvel. While I am not a comic book gal myself,
I love the Marvel movies. With each passing franchise movie, I wonder what will
happen next—its cinema magic that I don’t think you should miss out on.
